RTX-accelerated Ray Tracing brings realistic and immersive visual effects to games. For a detailed description of this critically acclaimed technology, head here. NVIDIA DLSS taps into the power of a deep learning neural network to boost frame rates and generate beautiful, sharp images in over 240 games and apps. NVIDIA DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) is a groundbreaking AI rendering technology that increases graphics performance using dedicated Tensor Core AI processors on GeForce RTX GPUs. To date, over 360 games and applications feature RTX support, including the best selling games, most-popular apps, and most used game engines. Comment by Trang0ul on T03:02:09-05:00Īctually sharp shadows ("RTX off") are more appealing to me.NVIDIA DLSS, Ray Tracing, and GeForce RTX-accelerated AI technologies and features are being adopted by developers with unprecedented speed, faster than any other in NVIDIA’s history. I hope next expansion will fully take advantage of RTX.

RTX Shadows are TERRIBLY implemented in WoW, even in Shadowlands, likely because that feature was added incredibly late in the expansion's development. Something that wouldn't impact the experience of other players of the game, just mine. One option that I would like to have, and would've made me play Classic, would've been to be able to switch on or off the Warlords of Draenor player models. So far the shadows are not convincing me to sacrifice fps. I hope to see water reflections with RT eventually.

Maybe they should remove also the blizzard client so you have to download patches on fileplanet Comment by merkakiss12 on T01:24:55-05:00ĭont use it then Comment by yoshimo on T01:43:26-05:00 Why would they do this now when it isn't necessary at all? Why on earth would they feel the need to include ray-tracing into TBC Classic? Old WoW, TBC and WotLK didn't have ray-tracing, and it didn't exist for the average consumer to have at the time. I mean, the multi-thread optimization back in BFA was good but still, not enough IMO.ĭLSS next, please! Comment by Sarik on T00:32:50-05:00 Why would they do this now when it isn't necessary at all? Comment by Luck4 on T00:31:04-05:00īlizzard keeps adding new graphics stuff, yet the game feels extremely poorly optimized when it comes to overall performance.

Really discouraging that I can count on my hand the number of places implemented correctly. And by most, I'm including the light sources in shadowlands. Most light sources in the game do not currently cast raytraced shadows. However, I can say that the implementation of Raytraced shadows in WoW is the most half-assed thing I've seen that was hyped up as a feature. I have a 3090 for things outside of WoW and it truly is cool in the places where it works correctly. It really made the shadows pop when I was progressing in Kara on my Dad's Dell. This was my favorite feature back in the day. That will require actual work from blizzard xD Comment by Wildbloom on T21:36:17-05:00 Next time go add DLSS Comment by Oorz on T21:20:10-05:00
